Paul & Marilyn Actual Day Wedding

Hello! Apologies for the lack of updates, we’ve been pretty busy these few days trying to clear as much backlogs as we can before Raymond fly to Russia this coming weekend. :)

Recently we’ve gotten news of quite a few couple of ours who’re expecting with a baby! Yesterday was Cassie’s birthday, and we got news that they’re expecting Little Kok Meng, due in November! So happy for them!!! And also we just received news from Sam and Michelle that their son was born on 27 July 2010!! So awesome! Can’t wait to visit them in Sydney! Also a biiiig congratulations to Laurie and Agnes + Edwin and Chew Ling who just gave birth last month! Not forgetting Terence and Jann + Herman & Janet who is due in August too!! Wah, so excited for all of them taking the next step of their new journey!! May all our couples pop more little boy boy and little girl girl, and be very much more in love than before! :)

That aside, here’s some images taken from Paul and Marilyn’s wedding this year in April. They had Singapore’s best wedding planner (awarded by Singapore Tatler) - The Wedding Entourage plan their wedding with a Disney Princess theme for the evening banquet session. I think they did a wonderful job with the coordinating, looking into every single detail of the wedding down to the timing schedules and the customs! Heard from Marilyn that The Wedding Entourage only takes on a certain number of wedding assignments to ensure that they give the best of their time and attention to plan for the couple’s wedding. Very exclusive and committed indeed! I also learnt from Raymond that the planners offer sincere and honest advices to couples (especially Caroline), so I’m very sure couples will definitely feel the assurance. :)

Paul and Marilyn engaged a second photographer – Kaya Ow – for the more formal shots, and also had Yang from Substance Films for Video. Their banquet was held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront hotel, with a beautifully and massively decorated ballroom (flowers and decor by Boenga). I can’t put in words how much effort was made for the preparation to make this wedding a successful and memorable one for the couple, but one thing for sure, Paul and Marilyn enjoyed themselves thoroughly on their wedding day! :)

I shall cut it short for now, so… enjoy the images taken by Raymond Phang! :)

Studio Warming

I think it’s a little bit extremely too late to update this here cos we’ve been super busy, but we’re having a “studio warming” today (9 August 2009) at our new place, from 6pm onwards! We’ve put so much thought and effort and heart and soul and blood and sweat into the place, and we just feel like living there forever. :D

Just a small little cosy place for us to bury our heads with work and dwell around. It’s pretty tough to live on our own, since there’s no one else to remind us to take a break or tell us when it is time for meals, time to drink water, time to shower, or to switch on the lights cos it’s getting too dark already etc.

When no one else is around, we’re like crazy machines rushing churning out works after works. Now we got to juggle this with housework too! Sweeping the floor (we don’t use vacuum), boiling water, cooking, washing dishes, cleaning dusts, taking out the rubbish etc etc. I think it’s good training to prepare for the future when we set up a family. =_=”

Anyway, our new place is located at 6 Eu Tong Sen Street, SOHO 1 @ Central, #06-12, Singapore 059817. Do drop by today when you feel bored and need some fun/entertainment!! Raymond and I lost count of how many guests we’ve invited, and how many will turn up. We’ll see how it goes! I had fun digging very unhealthy tidbits out from the cupboard earlier on, putting them into containers, and displaying them on the kitchen island table top! Feels like Lunar New Year to me. Haha!

It’s a little troublesome getting around the place cos of security access issues, so if you’re turning up, do give us a call and we’ll grab you up yea? Alternatively you can intercom us at the entrance beside Burger King for access. Hopefully we’re able to catch some tails from the fireworks. Muwahahaha~

It’s a good time to meet new people and mingle around. And the good thing is, pets are allowed!! Toads, lizards, spiders, crabs, ants, snakes, goldfish, hamsters, rabbits, dogs, cats all can bring! I’m sure our mascot (Baileys) will be super happy tomorrow cos he can get to meet new buddies and play with them. Hehehe. Good night every one, and may all of us be blessed with good health and happiness. Happy birthday Singapore!

Cheers!! :)

Notice: Out of Town from 17 June to 4 July

Hi guys!!

A lot has happened these few weeks, and we’ve had really enjoyable times catching up with friends. They say we have to learn how to make time for ourselves and our family despite the busy schedule, and we’re trying to master this particular set of skill.

Many thanks to our dearest friends who used to be our past time wedding couples. They have really made a difference and brought joy to our lives. :)

Today we will be travelling out of town to a place called Brisbane in Australia. I think I haven’t even finished sharing the Melbourne pictures we took last year!! *Faints*

We will be back on 4 July, hopefully healthy and in one piece! Muwahahahaha! Don’t bring back unecessary “things“! It’s gonna be a free and easy trip, we’ll drive up north from Brisbane airport, stopping as and when we like. We did not book any hotels/motels, so hopefully we don’t have to bunk in the wilderness at the small little towns. Which also means, we might have very limited access to the internet. If you need to contact us, feel free to call/sms us anytime ya?

Raymond: 9-2-3-8-6-3-2-5
Angeline: 8-1-3-8-3-3-9-7

I’m gonna miss Baileys our little chihuahua mascot, my family, and our friends! Will update the backlogs when we’re back! Let the 2 weeks be quick and painless. May the force be with you. Muwahahahaha! Cheers! :D

Our bundle of Joy

I shall stop ranting on how unlucky I am in the month of February. Cannot believe I had another sudden attack of bad gastric again few days back while meeting Alain and Shirley!! *Shakes head*

Last night I had a Red Color Dream. Red color, because I find the dream eerie. I dreamt that every night, there’s a woman crying from somewhere.. seems to come from downstairs, just a level below me. For every night, the woman kept crying and crying, and with the passing days, her cries got louder and louder. One day, I finally couldn’t take it anymore and decided to check it out for myself. I opened the door and saw that the light to my corridor was flickering. Then I pushed open the gates to my house, wore my ugly slippers and I almost went off already when Raymond called me on my mobile phone!! Urgh! So I woke up. =_=”

Well, that phone call might have came just in time to rescue me from a terrible nightmare. So I guess I gotta thank him for it! Phew! Must be the Big Mac meal I had last night for supper. Maybe tonight I’ll try eating candies, since I heard on class 95fm that sweet smelling things can possibly lead to sweet dreams. Hehehe.

1 interesting shot from Raymond’s collection! The bride was tidying up for the groom. So sweet. :)

Speaking of sweet, let me share something that our doggie has brought to our lives.

Everyday when we return home, our doggie never fail to give us pleasant surprises! See, so artistically done. We simply enjoy the opportunity to bond with each other when we clean up the mess together.  (like real)

Animals have their own way of expressing gratitude and thankfulness, and this was how our doggie expressed his! That’s actually his form of “reward” for us for leaving him alone at home the whole day. We love it when he innocently flap his ears down pointing backwards and quietly sit at a corner while he watches how we truly appreciate his creation by keeping them in the plastic bags. That’s how we ended up with missing socks and shoes.

Then we’ll always “educate” him not to give us so many heart attacks! Raymond said we need to be firm like this! I think I had the 3M velcro on. Hehehe.

Other days, he’s much more sweeter, especially when we have the time to accompany him.

Or when we bring him to the Vet for jabs and check up.

And when he sleeps, he’s truly an Angel. So poor thing, got no bolster to hug. Ah, that’s also how our pen/erasers went missing!! =_=”

Having a pet is a good thing, but it is also a responsibility. You have a duty to spend time with them, care for them, respect them and treat them like any human beings. Not sell them away, give them away, or leave them to die in drains or industrial area when they are old or sickly or dying. Think of the happy times you’ve spent together. How they stick by you and watch you cry when you’re upset, because that’s their best way of providing comfort since they cannot speak. Aiyah, think of this I want to cry already. Better start on my pictures now! Byebye!

A very, very long entry.

Raymond and I have been very, very busy recently. He’s now in a shoot actually, and I’m stuck in front of the computer looking through gigazillion number of pictures! Yesterday I spent the entire day sitting infront of the computer looking through Alvin and Angela’s wedding pictures until my head almost split themselves into pieces. So I had no choice but to take a breather by doing something else that doesn’t require me to sit infront of the screen. On a side note, I took up Qigong lesson! Hahaha! I wanted to sign up for the Taiji Quan lesson, but very unfortunately the registration date closed before I could do anything. Oh well… I hope Qigong is fun! Maybe I can chop watermelons into half simply by using my pinky. HAHAHA!! But I believe it is definitely beneficial to health. :D

Raymond took this with his webcam while I was waiting for my turn to have the CT Brain scan at SGH the other time. I was really upset that day and feeling really emotionally unstable. Come to think of it now, I’m getting a little upset again because the Insurance company rejected my claim for the bill, which is not cheap. End up I have to pay the bill myself. The head hurts, injection hurts, and then the heart hurts. =(

Oh well…. it was my first time having a brain scan. I didn’t expect the nurse to poke the IV plug into my hand. I thought it’s merely a scan, so why the need? The feeling ain’t nice at all, especially when the radiologist injected some very stinging chemical into my body during the 2nd scanning. It’s worse than a million ants biting. Then your whole body from the tip of your head to your toes will feel hot. I think even my hair and nails felt it too. HAHA! Also there’s like a weird smell coming from the machine or something. For a moment I thought I was BBQ-ed.

Enough of the sad experience, here’s some happy ones! Raymond took some pictures for our beloved Mascot – Baileys the wonder dog! Took this when he was doing the setup test shoot for profile shot of weixin.

Hey sexy, my name is Tonight. You can call me tonight. *Wink*

I feel so humiliated… they forced me to pose like that just now… *weep in silence*

Oh? No lah, I was merely acting… It’s true!

See how I love her?? Kissy kissy!

Actually I’m forced to kiss her just now…. I’m so humiliated… *enduring the humiliation*

Have to pretend that I love her and give her more kisses…

Sigh… I’m so sad…

*Frowns*

*Wonder when will they let me go…*

*Okay! Last one!!*

Hahaha! That’s our very naughty Chihuahua! You should have seen the mess he created whenever he’s angry. Very cute, but very naughty at the same time. We got him when he was 3 months old… now he has grown sooo big already! He’s 9 months old now! =D

Alright, more pictures from our Aussie trip! I wonder when can I finish sharing about the Aussie trip. Eeeks!

We went to Amaze’ N Things! It’s like a much bigger version of our Singapore Science Centre.

There’s a mini golf adventure range, and we tried our luck at it! We have around 20+ holes to complete I think. And Raymond lost most of the time to his brother in law. Wahahahaha! There’s even once when he hit the ball and it flew across the fence to the outside area near the roads!! Faints.

Very interesting clock! And it’s big! Best choice for people who like big and fat things, like me. Hahaha! I wanted to get this as a gift/souvenier, but then I thought better not. You know… the chinese belief… *shrugs*

We spent quite some time playing the puzzles and games.

And all the puzzles are available for sale at their gift shop. But I guess we can find them in Singapore too. =\

Games…

And more games! You’re supposed to use all these blocks to form the shape of a Pyramid.

Magic mirror.

Siblings!

Ah, this Gravity Room is the best choice for people who want to experience the feeling of nausea! I was inside for less than 10 minutes and the feeling hit me.

The slope is really steep! Have to be extra careful when you walk.

Optical illusion.

Very, very steep slope too! After this picture, I was stuck at where i was standing, because everyone went out to see the picture they took on the camera! =_=”. My shoes were too slippery so I couldn’t really move without support.

Husband and wife.

So fierce!! O_O”!

This is another killer. We have to walk across the bridge with hands over our head or something, and try to balance ourself by not falling or walking to the sides. Actually nothing is moving, except the images flashed on the walls of the tunnel. The images kept spinning around, and it makes you feel really dizzy, as though the whole bridge is swirling left and right.

Room of the thouuusand mirros. It’s a maze!! We have to make our way out, without any help. Hahaha! A lot of times I even knocked my head into the mirror because I thought it’s a path out!

Serving dish number 1 – Monkey Brain!

Serving dish number 2 – The world’s most delicious ice cream cake with chocolate frosting and pudding.

Nudist beach! Hahahahaha!! I think non of them even bothered to peep inside the hole, except for me! :p

But when I peeped inside, I felt cheated and disappointed. Hahaha!

Then we went outdoor to have a go at their maze.

Raymond the sneaky fella.

The evil Pirate.

Ta-dah! The maze!

Not very hard to find our way out…

Next we went for fishing! But by the time we reached there, they were already closing for the day. So sad!

I like this pinboard! I think it’s really nice and unique! Didn’t buy it back though, cos I thought it’s a little expensive.

Went back to the Motel. The husband and wife slept here, while Raymond and I took the smaller room inside.

We were watching TV, and having a board of directors meeting. Had to plan for the future.

Raymond has a big round butt! Spank spank!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!! They were having fun I tell you!

Then they got high… Real high…

I couldn’t bring myself to snap pictures of their doings anymore, so i excused myself to snap the bathroom.

The toilet for peeing and pooing.

And our room! Not bad actually, because there’s a bed warmer for everyone! :D

Small little closet, and a small little TV, which we didn’t utilise because we prefer watching TV together under one roof, so the one outside is our premier choice.

Eh Raymond! You’re supposed to be part of the discussion and planning team! Why are you watching TV??

As a punishment, I decided to follow him sneakily and snapped him while he’s doing some business. OOOPS!! Hahaha! I think if I were to become a wedding photographer, you’ll see 80% of shots of similar nature. So… lucky i’m not! Hahahaha!

That’s the name of the Motel we were staying at Phillip Island. Next entry, we’re going to Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, and Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Gardens! Byebye! :D
