Aloha aloha! As promised, here’s an update on an actual day wedding photographed by Raymond. Edmund and Cheryl is one of our many couples whom I’m still intrigued with even until today. There’s just something about them that makes me kinda want to get to know them better. Hahaha!
I haven’t got to meet the couple until the day when they came over to collect their DVD of wedding photos, so I don’t really know anything about the couple at all.
So when Raymond got back from the shoot, he was sharing with me how the bride is like and how the groom is like, how fun was the shoot and what are the different things that he did for the shoot.
Even the exterior of their house looks so interesting with all the signs for the different street names.
And usually what we see are doggies instead of kitties.
While the sisters prepare for the gatecrashing, mummy was also caught in preparation.
Happy sister sitting on the bed accompanying the bride, watching Cedric from Bridal Veil Michelle Huimin do up Cheryl’s hair and make up.
Mummy looking all pretty and getting ready.
And here’s a quick preview on the gatecrashing bits. A lot of food, eating and licking. I hope Edmund washed his finger before this. O_O”!!
And a heart shaped wax strip prepared for the party. But I think the sisters probably had a hard time cutting it since wax can be really sticky and messy.
When Edmund finally got the bride and handed the wedding contract to Cheryl, she threw a fist in the air!
It was really, really, really, really hard to catch Cheryl smiling with her teeth shown because strangely she feels that she looks better when she smile without showing her teeth. But I really, really, really, really think otherwise! I thought she looked really sweet when she smiles like that. 🙂
And something personal. Cheryl is a teacher, and gosh she’s good in Music! She doesn’t seemed to show it on the surface, but sometimes the good stuffs are all hidden inside. You cannot judge a person based on what you see and what you know of them from other people. And sometimes some people may seemed all shy and whimpy on the outside and because of that you think they are people with low self esteem, probably not a leader material, will never make it big in life.
But never judge a book by its cover because sometimes it’s that person’s choice to keep a low profile of their talent. Who knows, that shy and whimpy person who seemed like a bully’s best target is actually a super duper fantastic speaker! It’s like when you put them on the right platform, they will sparkle like the stars in the sky and give talks so inspiring it can make thousands of people leave the hall pondering over ‘Life’.
That was what I thought of Cheryl when I learnt of all these hidden talent that she had, and finally meeting her in person after the wedding. A simple person on the outside, but actually oozing with goodness from the inside. 🙂
And she’s super game on to try anything! Like being buried under heaps of bags even on her wedding day!
Down to the reception where they had polaroids taken and well wishes written at the bottom strip. Sort of replaced the conventional wedding guest book.
Love the ring shot?
Not many brides actually wear a watch on their actual day wedding, but Cheryl is one of them. Sometimes it’s a habit of being too used to wearing a watch that you’ll feel weird without something on your wrist.
And the couple marched in. The banquet was held at The Regent.
Caption for this? 🙂
A loving moment before their second march in.
Cheryl was wearing a really unique evening gown for her second march in. It’s like a cheongsam with mandarin collar, one side of the dress is sleeveless and the other with a short sleeve! Gotta go check out Bridal Veil if you fancy what you see here. I’m sure they can fix up something suitable for you. 🙂
Singing a love song for the couple’s second march in.
Followed by a speech!
Lots and lots of candid moments.
Lots and lots of drinking.
HORRIBLE!! Those glasses of mixture looks potent.
Edmund didn’t know what’s coming…
Until he took a sip and that’s it. Unfortunately there was another person taking pictures at the same time as Raymond, and the infrared beam on the groom’s face was caught by Raymond’s camera at the same time. So… this is what we get. The split second of a frown, but with the red streak of beam on Edmund’s face. Oh mannnn!!!
Edmund seemed to enjoy his drink afterwards, no more frowning already. This was the image right after Edmund’s face was being “scanned” by the “barcode”. If only we spammed the shutter at maybe 30 frames per second or something like that. Then we might have caught the frowning image without the beam.
But of course we don’t and won’t. Raymond is still training himself and pushing himself real hard to make sure he clicks less of the shutter button, spend more time to wait for the right moment, so that every shot he captures would worth more than a thousand words. 🙂
Let’s all give him some encouragement and show him some love okie? 🙂
Till tomorrow, take care! 🙂
Lots of Love,
